The Building Bricks collection focuses on combining basic shapes and primary colors. It goes back to my first experiences as a kid with building brick towers and creating balance. The core design elements of the classic brick toy are simple block shapes in the colors red, blue and yellow, which I transform into my fashion. The creative process of expressing myself with the construction of brick buildings gets translated in a playful way in my collection as I work with the limitations of the bricks to form something simple yet creative. That core concept of this designing process is inspired by the principles of W. Kandinsky from the Bauhaus art school.
